I would love to answer the question through email but you are a no-reply blogger so I can't! The Chain Stitch is my preferred stitch for names...but I also use the outline stitch. It depends on the space sometimes. Good luck with your stocking. Debbie
Hi Debbie! I'm a new reader to your blog! I have absolutely no idea how I got here as I bookmarked it a while ago. Lol! But thank you for the stitching tutorials! I am actually going to be starting a quilt that has a LOT of stitching and I've only done a backstitch! LOL! I might have to google those Christmas stockings because they're so dang cute! Anyway, I just wanted to say Hi! Love that you lived in Alaska (a place I've ALWAYS wanted to visit) and then moved to Paris! How exciting! Someday when all the kidlets leave the nest...LOL!
I'm so glad you stopped by to visit. I have discovered I am not so great at responding to comments...but I really do get so excited when you take the time to share.
Working on my first stocking. So far so good. One question, if you were going to personalize w/ a name, what type of stitch do you suggest? Thanks
