I have all my blocks made for the Disappearing Hour Glass design made from Layer Cakes, or 10" squares. Here's the first layout I tried on my design wall.
Then I tried to organize by bands of color. I'm leaning toward the color bands.
Oh darn...I'll have to make a trip to a local quilt shop for the border fabric!
I'm still pecking away on the quilting of "Katchemak Baywatch."
Did you just hear my squeal of excitement? A new Bucilla stocking release. How can I resist?

I like the arrangement with the bands of color -- oh you must sacrifice and make a trip for border fabric! We have to suffer for our art - LOL! have fun!
Those blocks are fabulous. I think you're right about the layout in the bands of colour. And yes, I hear you squealing!! LOL!!
I like the second on best. LOL on the sock-you sure love those
I loved the design with traditional fabrics but with batik, it's gorgeous.
