Christmas Delivery

I picked up my present last weekend...

This is Logan...11 weeks old. He's a Gordon Setter just like my girl McKinley.

McKinley visited the groomer yesterday...so pretty!

It is a little crazy at my house this holiday season...because I also have a a seven-month-old kitten, Eli, who thinks he's a dog...when he's not playing tag with the dogs...he sneaks into Logan's crate. Eli doesn't look much like a kitten anymore. I know he weighs over 12 pounds at this point and can reach the top of the kitchen counter tops when he stretches his full length.

I have delusions that I might still start Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilt, "En Provence,"...it could happen! I really love the colors and the name of the quilt. Her inspiration photos call to me!

In the meantime...finishing up a few projects during "nap time."  Got the backing and hanger on this Bucilla stocking called, "In the Workshop."

Instead of cross stitch, I took some little redwork projects to stitch on when traveling. These are from a set of 12 ornaments from an Australian designer, Lynette Anderson. A cute little button will finish each ornament...or I may combine them for a mini quilt. I can't make up my mind but since I have nine more blocks to make...I've got some time to think about it.

Not sure how much posting I will get done for the rest of 2016...just to be on the safe side...

I wish you a Merry Christmas.
I think it will get here much too quickly!

I think 2017 is getting here much too quickly! Your new puppy is adorable and your older dog is so grown up looking now and love the cat. Merry Christmas to you if you do not get back on the computer!

Logan is absolutely beautiful...Kinley now has a companion! And Eli has someone else to play with! I love the pictures of your stockings....they inspire me to work on the ones that have languished in the pile for so very long...I was able to get mom's done last week. Merry Christmas to you and yours, as well, Debbie.

Oh my goodness Logan is so cute! It will certainly be busy at your house this Christmas season! Merry Christmas to you also and I agree, the time is flying by. Your redwork projects would make a lovely little quilt.

Lucky Dawg!
You should do the mystery quilt. Start after you get your awesome stocking collection put away after the holidays.
I should do it too right after I get caught up on Brackman's Westerning Women Quilt-A-Long.
I think AK got exported to WA this winter. I can't believe the snow.
And the 365 day quilt challenge is rebooting this next year too. I wanted to do it last year but didn't get there so I'm in luck. I'd like to empty a scrap hamper with that one.
Thanks for adding Bonnie's challenge to the list.
It's going to take a lot of nap times to keep up.
And I was just finishing planning the vegetable garden...

Merry Xmas Debbie! What a gorgeous new addition to the family. We have just had our dear dog put down... almost twelve years old, and suffering with breast cancer. Sometimes being a pet owner sucks :o( I'll have to check out Bonnies mystery now, and figure out what the 365 day quilt challenge is (from a previous comment).
