This is one of the quickest strip quilt patterns I have ever made and yet it has a complex look.
Just for the sake of comparison...the purple version...
Corinne and Cécile think I should be make a third one for some gifting...which would really mean making a third and fourth one! I certainly have enough fabric in my stash to do that!
So this is how a quilter copes with being alone for almost a month...she makes two quilt tops. Hubby gets home tomorrow so quilt production will drop...that's a good thing.

I don't know which color combo I like better. They are both gorgeous!
that sure is a pretty pattern
Two gorgeous quilts! Great to hear it's an easy pattern because, you're right, it looks complicated. I know you talked abt the pattern before but could you tell us again? Was it from a book? I'm having brain freeze here in Boston!
Kate
great!! you are kind!!!you can make it mini! your sewing machine need a calm time!
The old saying "make hay while the sun shines" comes to mind. Great design, and doesn't it look different with the alternate colourways!
Both of these are beautiful! I have this book and have contemplated doing this one. I like your fabric choices a lot. Need to look at my batik stash. Happy stitching!
The new Tidal Pools is beautiful too! Now I don't know which one I like better!
It's so pretty, too - terrific choice for the surrounding fabric. I couldn't believe how fast you said the center came together!
