Diving into the Blog - Day 1

I've taken the plunge...I'm a blogger. I'll get right to it.
The new year is approaching and I have decided to join the 2011 UFO Challenge with Judy of Patchwork Times. I have more than 12 projects and some will take longer than a month, even if I only worked on that project, so I will have to make some realistic parameters on what I hope to accomplish. Here's my list:
1 - Good Tidings Banner - Top Stitch and Quilt
2 - Bear Arabesque Stocking - Hand quilt and final construction
3 - Confectionery Bear Stocking -  Hand quilt and final construction
4 - Bear Carousel Stocking - Applique, Hand quilt and final construction
5 - Bear in a Box Stocking - Appliques, Hand quilt and final construction
6- Moda U Quilt #1 -  Borders and Quilt
7 - Moda U Quilt #2 -  Borders and Quilt
8- Green Tea Quilt -  Borders and Quilt
9 - Alaska Shop Hop - Top Stitch Blocks, Sashing, Borders and Quilt
10 - Alaska Shop Hop - Assemble remaining blocks, Top Stitch, Sashing, Borders and Quilt
11 - Star Struck Strip Quilt - Blocks made, Assemble and add borders, Quilt
12 - Hawaii Quilt - Add blocks to increase size, Borders and Quilt
1A- Moda U #3 - Applique blocks, patchwork filler blocks
2A- Shivery Snowmen - Applique remaining Blocks and make patchwork blocks
3A - Tamarack Grove - Pinwheel blocks made...figure out what to do with them
4A - Nutcraker BOM top - Quilt and Bind5A- Alaska Shop Hop - Quilt and Bind6A - Paper Piecing Top - Quilt and Bind7A - Mckenna Ryan Top - Quilt and Bind8A - Christmas Medallion - Quilt and Bind

Top tips for social blogging:
1. Lots of pictures
2. Keep it regular
3. Don't be afraid to go 'off topic', your cat's antics are just as interesting as your quilt projects
4. Better to avoid 'heavy' politics and religion unless you only want to read and be read by people who think exactly like you
5. Be careful what you post, there are a few weirdos out there altho not so many in Alaska because there are fewer of you :)
