Greetings from the Frigid North

Yet another day of subzero temps. I would rather do doggie potty breaks in subzero temps than rain but I'm still not liking it. I hunkered down in the studio all day Saturday. It never got above -13F so the dogs were house-bound. I'm sure there were lots of other things I should have been doing...tax preparation...paying bills...cleaning...cooking...Nope! Time for winter therapy...sewing with bright colors.

Did I  forget any colors? I plan to add the borders today. It's supposed to warm up tomorrow...and hit the teens on the positive side...those weather people are always so optimistic!

This came together so quickly and it IS cheerful and bright. A great way to beat the winter blues. I hope you get the "heat wave" that's predicted!

where did you get this pattern from - I really like it - looks like you have to really think about placement though!
I do not envy you the cold temperatures - here I am in sunny Arkansas thinking that although the thermometer says 55 I think it feels more like it is in the 40's and thinking it is chilly!

It is so very, very pretty and happy and warm and summery inside your house with your quilt, even if it is cold and wintery outside.

Debbie, that is just so cheery...Tutti Fruiti! I've ordered the book from which it came and can hardly wait to start my own. Thanks for sharing.
