What a Relief

Our Paris household goods were delivered this morning at 9:30 a.m....20 boxes. I did not let the movers leave until I had verified my sewing machines were in the shipment. My Bernina 440  and the French Singer antique made it!

By 1:30 p.m., I only had one box left to unpack.

Most important were these treasures I couldn't wait to touch.

Also, the all important Starbucks mug collection...

and my stash of French dark chocolate peanut M&Ms.

Lots of piles around the house as I haven't put everything in its place yet...it is a happy chore to have!

Oh how wonderful that all of your things made it home!! so glad that the sewing machines made it safely - will love to see a photo of the antique machine you brought back with you I don't know if I ever saw a photo of it. And dark chocolate M & M's!! I will have to look for that I don't know if I have ever seen them - maybe they can be ordered? you must be relieved that everything made it home - took a long time but it got there.

That's fabulous news! After 3 years, you finally get to put everything away in your new home.

Yay! Good for you to double check the important stuff before you let them leave.:) I bet it's a thrill to have it all home again!

What a relief is right! I couldn't imagine losing your stockings after all of the work you put into making those beauties. What a cool collection of mugs! I didn't realize Starbucks made those, but I don't frequent Starbucks. Enjoy finding places at home for your treasures.

Finally everything made it home! You must be so relieved that all arrived in good condition. How many Santa stockings do you have now??? So much work in them and they're each so individual - they're priceless.

Looks like you are a seasoned unpacker - are you glad to be back? Is it a permanent move or will you be jetsetting around more. I'm with you, I looove my Bucilla's (dont have as many as you, but I'm working on it) good to have them safe and sound. Put the kettle on and enjoy a rest, you've earned it xxx
